I just wanted to cry!

Last night I went to go for my daily jog but as I went to select the albulm (Classic Masterworks - Haydn) my Ipod decided to freeze. I was devastated I tried everything I could including putting it in the fridge for 5 minutes but it just wouldn't unfreeze. So I had to jog to the soundtrack of my breathe, footsteps and my thoughts. As I was jogging I noticed that my feet didn't make a noise when the pounded the pavement, I had finally achieved silence in something!

When I arrived at sixth form and was telling a friend about my Ipod issue, she just held the menu and central button down and unfroze it, therefore saving me the journey to Brent X where I would have visited the Apple Store. This had made me go from wishing to cry to being happy as Larry!

What to do when you are stuck for ideas in a drama lesson!

In Theatre today we were stuck without a story and a set of characters, to revolve around the protagonist. So as a way to generate some characters we improvised an 'addicts anonomous' meeting, which also generated a story and a sub story.
We intend to devise a 40 minute drama that is not only naturalistic, but with surreal scenes that convey the madness of the modern world.

Saturday at Southbank

This Saturday I was down at Southbank doing some free running as you do with some friends. I surprisingly was the only girl and when we joined some other free runners, they were unsure how to percieve me but as I showed what I could do they became friendly and accepting.

We had a few minor problems with security guards, who tried to call the police to move us on and to stop us doing flips. We called thier bluff by qouting the health and safety law which states that they can advise us not to flip but it is up to us if we choose to take it or not. They then tried to tell us we were on private property, this failed as there was tourists and passers by who asked why it was private property in a public space and we argued that if a jogger had paused to gain his breathe was he tresspassing?.

The one thing I like about free running is that even if you aren't too great at it anything you do still looks great and people love to photograph anything that looks great and slightly dangerous, especially if it is in London by the Thames, who could ask for a better background.

Diet

Of all things the one thing that doesn't interest me is diet. Even when my friends say they are going on a diet despite they don't need too.

But recently I have been thinking about changing my diet. Just adjusting the little things like how much water I drink, eating more fish and eggs and less of the sugar stuff.
I have reduced how much coffee/hot chocolate I drink and I eat so much fruit that my mother is surprised when its all gone within a week (realisticaly me and my sister are the only main fruit eaters in my house).
I have started to change the amount of water I drink by carrying a bottle with me everywhere alongside my novel, poetry material and make up. (No wonder my bag wieghs a ton)
I also need to go back to taking my vitamin and cod liver suppliments like I use to when I was a pre-teen. This along with some exercise I think will help me become a fitter and healthier person.

Housewife

Oh my god, I have discovered a new side of myself. I saw the amout of washing that needed to be done in my room and decide hey lets see how much of it I can wash. It turns out to be 10 washing machine loads, this breaks down in to 3 colour loads, 2 woolen, 1 delicates, 1 reds, 1 whites and 1 underwear. This turnt out to be really enjoyable and I honestly felt like a housewife when I got out the hoover and used it around the house. I just want to apologise to the people who want to reduce global warming, but it was for the greater good of my wardrobe dilema. Really who wants to be wearing the same clothes for a week, certianly not me. I rewarded myself with watching the 50 greatest Hip Hop tunes of 1998 to 2008 on MTV.
I also managed not to break anything, but couldn't find anything to bake - God I seriously soundlike a 1950's house wife stuck in the 21st century. Maybe I should just stick to the studying and stay young and carefree like I'm suppose too.

Freedom

I'm soooo happy I have a free yard for the weekend which means raiding the fridge, partying and just jamming on the sofa watching MTV on full blast. The only downside is quickly cleaning the house before sunday evening. This is going to great and I intend to take full advantage of it for as long as possible!!!

Unwell

OMG
Some silly person has passed on the winter cold to me and I feel like I am dying because I can't breathe through my nose therefore when I do anything where I normally breathe through my nose I look really unattractive or high.
Normally I don't get ill but clearly my metabalism is lower than normal. Time to up my fitness regime!!

Seperated at birth

Ok

Is it me or does my head teacher look like Gordon Brown?

University

Why do schools/ college make you apply to uni?
what if you don't want to ?
What if you don't know what to study?
What if you don't know what you want to do in life?

If I knew the answer to these questions I would tell you but they have crossed my mind. At the moment I have filled out my UCAS form and perfected my personal statement, just waiting until January 15Th to post it and wait for my offers. I have applied to Kent, Bangor, Glasgow, Durham and Warwick to do English Lit with Creative Writing. At the moment with the credit crunch I don't know if the banks will give me my loans and other things I need and I know the debt I'm going to be in will pile up ridiculously, but it is what I have to be prepared to do as I will be the first in my family to go and it is part of reaching self actulisation or something stupid like that.
